Zayne Lebray
As a young baseball player, Zayne trained using conventional strength and conditioning methods with the goal of becoming stronger, faster, and more capable on the field. Despite his efforts, recurring ankle and knee injuries repeatedly interrupted his progress and limited his athletic development.
Searching for better answers, Zayne began studying alternative approaches to movement and physical performance. He worked as a Qigong instructor, became certified in Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and studied with a Somatic Experiencing educator
Despite pursuing multiple approaches, Zayne still felt there were significant gaps in his understanding of why injuries occurred and how to build a body capable of performing consistently without recurring setbacks.
His introduction to Functional Patterns changed his understanding of human biomechanics and challenged many of the conventional strength and conditioning principles he had previously practiced. For the first time, he found a systematic approach that connected movement, structure, and physical performance rather than treating strength, mobility, and injury as separate issues.
Zayne went on to pursue his education in Functional Patterns, becoming a licensed Human Biomechanics Specialist.
Today, Zayne applies Functional Patterns to help clients improve their biomechanics, strength, mobility, and physical performance. He works with individuals across a range of abilities—from athletes seeking greater strength, skill, and endurance to people working to overcome physical limitations and return to the activities they value.
Through consistent application of Functional Patterns, Zayne helps clients develop movement that translates beyond the gym—supporting their ability to move, perform, and pursue their goals with greater physical freedom.
